Limerick Golf Club – Update

The CLUB CLASSIC will take place this coming Friday & Saturday, 27th & 28th June, and is sponsored by Roselawn House. The format is TEAM OF 2 STROKEPLAY, Front 9 Holes Better ball .Back 9 Holes Scramble, 35% of Combined Handicap – any Combination of Ladies/Gents/Mixed Teams allowed. The Entrance Fee for Members is €10 while Visitors are €25 (Re-Entry Members €5 Visitors €20), there is €3,000 in prizes guaranteed to include best Ladies & Mixed team. The Timesheets are still OPEN and you can book by calling 061 415146.

LADIES’ CLUB
Congratulations to our Intermediate team who had a great win on Sunday in Dromoland well done to Ger O’Carroll who won on the 20th, next round will be in Nenagh on 5th July. Our Senior Foursomes are playing this week end please come and support them see notice board for details. The Brown Thomas Open day will take place on Sunday 13th July (only to men and women) booking now open. Keane’s Open day takes place on Tuesday 15th with prize giving that night time sheet is now open.

Congratulations to Helena Tiernan winner of our Captains Prize to the ladies. We would also like to thanks our Captain Ger for the lovely prize.

MEN’S CLUB
Our Captain (Ger Gallagher) would like to thank everyone who made these recent weeks special for the Captains prize both to the Men and Ladies, with special thanks to the course staff and house staff who brought a very professional touch to the playability of the course and the overall Club atmosphere.

Congratulations to Michael J MacMahon who played great golf to come from behind and win the Captains Prize, narrowly beating Declan Barriscale who took the Vice Captains Prize.

SENIORS GOLF
Stephen Holohan, Michael Marrinan & Brendan O’Connell were the winners in the Team of Three with a score of 46 points. Second place went to Denis Keating & Tony O’Mahony with 45 points.

TEAM NEWS
Best of luck to Frank O’Mahony and his panel that play Barton Shield in Nenagh, this Saturday at 3.10pm against either Adare Manor or Lahinch. All support would be greatly appreciated.
