Loughrea Scratch Cups

The lovely Loughrea Golf Club will host Scratch Cups from Friday 23rd May through Sunday 25th May.

Their Intermediate & Minor Scratch Cups will take place on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th May. The Minor Scratch is for those with Handicaps of 18 and higher while the Intermediate Scratch Cup is for those between 10 & 17 Handicap. There are Gross & Nett Prizes on offer and for only €15 per person for Non-Members and €7 per person for Members it is great value. You can book by calling 091-841049.

The County Galway course will also host their Junior & Senior Scratch Cups on Sunday 25th May, presented by McInerney’s SuperValu. The Handicap limits are 4 and lower for the Senior Scratch while the Junior Scratch is 5-9 Handicap. The entry fee is €20 per person for Non-Members and €10 for Members and there are tee times available between 8am and 11:30am. You can book by calling 091-841049 or email loughreagolfclub@gmail.com. Castleknock Scratch Cups

Castleknock Golf Club are delighted to announce that they will be hosting their first annual Junior and Intermediate Scratch Cups on Sunday May 18th. Fantastic Prizes will be on offer and the winners of each Scratch Cup will receive a Silver Trophy which their name will be engraved upon.

Mount Juliet Scratch Cups 2013

Mount Juliet will run 3 Scratch Cups this year over the 3 Bank Holiday Weekends in May, June and August. This is the first time the Jack Nicklaus designed course will hold 3 separate Scratch Cups having run a joint event during the summer of 2012 which proved very successful.

The Intermediate Scratch Cup will take place on Sunday 5th May while the Junior Scratch Cup will be played on Sunday 2nd June and the Senior Scratch Cup will provide the crescendo to the Mount Juliet Scratch Cups in 2013 on Sunday 4th August.

The format will be Singles Strokeplay as with all Scratch Cups with an entry fee of €60 per person. The Junior & Senior Scratch Cup will also be part of the Top Golfer Tour this year so by winning either Scratch Cup at Mount Juliet you could be on your way to the Top Golfer Tour Championship later on in 2013.
